Mouse Removal in Columbus & Dublin, OH

Call 614-592-4616

Mouse control is exclusion work. A mouse can enter through a gap smaller than a dime, and sealing those gaps is what stops the population - trapping alone just replaces the mice you remove. Rodent activity in Central Ohio climbs from October through March as mice move into heated structures.

Signs of mice

How we treat mice

We inspect the exterior first to find the entry points: foundation cracks, utility penetrations, vents, gaps around doors, and any place vegetation touches the roof line. Those are sealed with rodent-proof materials, not expanding foam.

Trapping is placed in active travel routes and monitored between visits. Bait stations are used where trapping alone is not enough, and placement is documented so service is repeatable.

Sanitation and harborage work matter: we remove nesting material, address insulation damage, and give cleanup guidance for areas where contamination occurred.

Follow-up visits confirm the exclusion is holding. Rodent work is judged by whether new activity appears after sealing, not by how many were trapped on the first visit.

Prevention

Keep mulch and soil contact off the foundation, store firewood and pet food away from the house, seal vents and gaps around pipes, and trim vegetation that gives rodents a bridge to the roof line. Most mouse entry happens at points people walk past every day.

Plans & pricing

Inspection is free for Central Ohio properties we service. Mice service is priced by scope - one-time as-needed treatment, or a quarterly plan under one of the three residential tiers that includes re-treatment between visits if the problem returns. See residential plans and commercial programs, or call 614-592-4616 for a quote before any work is scheduled.

FAQs about mice

What are the first signs of mice in a home?

Small dark droppings, gnaw marks, shredded insulation, and scratching noises in walls at night.

How do mice get into houses?

Through gaps smaller than a dime - foundation cracks, utility penetrations, and vents.

What's the best mouse control?

Exclusion (sealing entry points) plus trapping. Prevention beats infestation treatment.

When is mouse season in Central Ohio?

Late fall through winter. Mice move indoors as outdoor food and shelter disappear, which is why October through February is the busiest period.

Is it enough to trap mice?

No. Trapping removes the animals already inside. Without sealing the entry points, new mice take their place.
